Every time I see your blog pop up in my inbox, I know it's going to be full of witty/creative/Chuckry-esque content! You write beautifully and I appreciate your writing style just as much as I appreciate the content itself. I also really like the variety of things you post. You post anecdotes of you and your family, childhood memories, opinions of current events -- I can never predict what your next newsletter will be about! I'm not sure if you should box your newsletter into focusing on one specific thing because I love how this platform has given you the space to write about anything. There might come a certain point where it becomes more about the readers and less about you and what you want to write about.. (ie choosing topics that you think readers will want to read more about and less about what you want to write about).

I honestly think you have the ability to write about anything and make it interesting -- I read every word of the Kaiser Permanente post, that one might be one of my favorites. I hope this newsletter continues being a space where you can freely write without having to think too deeply about readers' opinion. It's hard to predict what a reader wants to read..because we don't really know what we want! If you keep writing about things you find interesting, it'll reflect in your writing and turn out beautiful. I didn't think I'd read and re-skim your Kaiser post but I did anyway because I was curious and you had me hooked!

Oh and one last thing but I love your recommendations you always include at the bottom of your post. They are always pretty quirky and cool! PS I was soooo surprised to see my shout-out at the end of this post! Made me smile!!! :)

I really enjoy your newsletter, and it is so cool to watch it develop, and that you're also sharing the process of figuring out what purpose you want it to serve for yourself and others! Your personality adds a lot to it, and I'm referring to how you will include a story about yourself, your friends, and what seems to me are internal conversations you have with yourself. Maybe it's hard to explain what I mean about your internal conversations so hopefully you get it, but I think the way you do it gives your writing a very unique voice! It feels like I am having a conversation with you, even though I'm not there or adding anything haha. And lastly, I like how you tie all of these things into a bigger picture, which is sometimes a bigger picture for your personal life (which is often relatable and inspiring), or of a broader big-picture outside yourself.

:) Thank you for writing and sharing!

It'd be awesome if an umbrella could float me away like a parachute:) Wonder if it came from watching Mary Poppins. That's a cute memory.
